Pass the Peas is a chef’s initiative to spread the wealth of plant based nutrition to underserved families in the Boston area.
We already cook for well-fed folk, who afford great nutrition for their own family.
We’re asking them to pay a bit more, so we can cook double and deliver equal nutrition to a neighboring family.
In short, the plan is—
Our clients generosity + our kitchen skills = another family eats well.
It turns feeding oneself into feeding another, which makes everything taste better, we promise! It’s a practical way to get vibrant nutritious delicious food into homes that are often without it — and gives our clients a way to make that gesture via our kitchen.
We cook vegetables, grains, beans, soups and salads — keeping track of preferences — and deliver a weekly package to supplement home cooking.
